As part of Honors Rhetoric and Civic Life 137H and 138T, I have constructed a passion blog, Rhetoric and Civic Life blog, and Civic Issues blog. My passion blog from 137H focused on getting to know the people around me. I conducted interviews of strangers and friends and wrote about them. My passion blog for 138T focused on writing about myself. I chose quotes from a calendar that described my week and shared that on my blog. My Civic Issues blog for 138T was a feminist blog. I questioned what it means to be a female in the American society and discussed relevant gender related issues in today's world. My general Rhetoric and Civic Life blog covers a variety of topics that were assigned by my professors. Click the button below to be redirected to my blog"Peace or Strategy".
I am an International Baccalaureate diploma recipient. As part of the program, I conducted a two year long research project in the field of psychology. I chose to study the affects of visual perception on food choice as a means to explain why America is so obese. I was interested specifically in how the presentation and arrangement of unpackaged food affects the quantity of food a person consumes.

As another project for Rhetoric and Civic Life 138T, we were asked to construct an issue brief to advocate for some sort of change. I chose to write about why eyewitness testimonies should not be deemed completely reliable when convicting people of crimes. I was passionate about this topic after learning about the unfortunate case of Ronald Cotton in my psychology 100 class this semester.
